Yvonne van Scheijen (1962) studied biology at Wageningen University. She graduated and worked briefly as biologist. In 1990 she ended up in the world of chartersailing and since then sailing is her profession.
From 2015 she immersed herself in yoga and meditation.
Corona accelerated Yvonne’s ideas about starting a ‘yoga boat’.
Yvonne is good at making people feel at ease and creating a cosy atmosphere. She is versatile: she also loves knitting (zen!), small creative art projects, making Kombucha, walking small ship’s dog Wypke, nowadays Mayday, along endless beaches, cold water dipping, making music on guitar, cooking, bird watching and a lot more!
